A Toast To Topsail

Sometimes, life brings you a once-in-a-lifetime moment that feels like the perfect storm. For me, that moment was Saving the South End.

The chance to help protect my home, a place that shaped who I am, my memories, my roots, and my heart. With my family’s lineage in this area reaching back before 1728, I can only hope my ancestors are looking down proud.

After years of watching development slowly take over the place I’ve always called home, having the opportunity to permanently preserve a part of it is something I’ll never take for granted. To give back in such a lasting and meaningful way especially through Finaddicts, the company I built right here where it all began, is something I never imagined possible. And yet, here we are.

The South End of Topsail Island is Saved. Forever.

And I got to be part of it. What an unbelievable honor. What a surreal, full-circle moment.
