PLEASE REMEMBER that these disasters do not stop once the water and news crews are gone. There are folks that have lost everything including loved ones. People are still stranded without food, water, or power. It will be months before power is fully restored to the region. It will be months before all the roads are rebuilt. And it will months before homes are rebuilt. I cannot stress this is enough. It does not stop. This devastation is beyond comprehension. Not to mention the mental toll that it will have on everyone within the region and NC as a whole. Western NC is resilient, they will recover, there is light at the end of the tunnel. If you can help in any way. Please do. They need us now more than ever. Please pray. -
