SURF EXPO 50TH ANNIVERSARY 2026 FINADDICTS

Words cannot describe how crazy the 50th Anniversary Surf Expo was for Finaddicts.

For starters, Finaddicts has now broken into 6 new states including, Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, & Kansas. This means that Finaddicts is now available in over a quarter of the entire U.S. That alone is something I never could have imagined.

On top of that, we met some MAJOR players in the industry, including Bob Hurley himself. Yes that Hurley. The founder of Hurley & Billabong, arguably the most influential person in the surf culture and industry. Someone I only could dream of ever meeting. Standing in my booth, talking to us. Talk about a humbling and ground shaking moment.

Bob Hurley then introduced us to the President and VP of Katin, the pioneer brand that created the first boardshorts ever. Another company I have looked up to forever. I got to personally talk with them about design, screen printing, ins and outs of the industry, and even show them my work and designs as well.

We also met the owner and team of Jetty, a brand I look up to & deeply respect for their dedication to their home coastal community, environmental clean up, and disaster relief. Not to mention they also screen print all of their own shirts themselves just as I do. Some of the coolest & most genuine people I’ve met so far.

Last but certainly not least. We met John John Florence, one of the greatest surfers of this generation and among the best in world history. Our booth was set up right across from his company Florence Marine X. He & his entire team were again some of the best people we have ever met.

It’s truly a blessing to be in an industry where everyone is so genuine & has the best intentions. Everyone cares about the ocean, conservation, and supporting each other. Just being able to have genuine conversations with some of the people that I’ve looked up to since I was a kid is astonishing. Even crazier to have them complement my work, designs, and congratulate me on my success thus far.

There’s so much more to talk about from this Surf Expo, there’s no way I can fit it all in 1 post. All I can say is thank you to everyone directly or indirectly involved. God is Good.
